A joyful practice which is driven by intention, can make activities you once struggled with feel almost effortless. With your breath as your foundation, you will learn to listen to your body; and you will gain a true understanding of the way your breath moves within you. The rhythm of your breath can be your guide, it can lead you to the path of least resistance; it can be that simple. You may decide to fight yourself, to ignore i.e. disrespect your body, to make it a struggle, to apply force instead of intention; you may make that choice every day. Eventually you will grow tired and decide to breathe instead. And when you do; when you finally stop fighting yourself, you find that the volume to your mind chatter has been turned way down and one day you will look up to find your ego has moved into the back seat along with any number of other things that no longer serve you. By focusing on what you can control, your breath and intention; you are changing the way you think.
By changing the way you think, you are effecting the energy in your body, as well as the energy you’re putting into the world around you. The way we think and feel is manifested in our bodies and on our faces. The changes that you truly deserve and desire, have to begin in your mind. And we begin, by simply learning how to breathe.
